Hunter Women’s Centre can’t provide accommodation, welfare, financial assistance or legal advice. If you require these services, the information on our Resources and Emergency Contacts may be useful. If we can’t provide you the assistance you require, we will always do our best to give information about other services in the Hunter region that may be right for you.
Counselling
Hunter Women’s Centre provides a client centred, strengths based and trauma informed counselling service to women.
Groups & Workshops
The Hunter Women’s Centre offers a variety of groups and workshops throughout the year, designed to provide resources and support.
Information & Referrals
We offer information about, or referrals to, many services in the Newcastle and Hunter Region for all women.

Every women deserves a safe space of support, understanding and respect.
We rely on funding and donations to continue the amazing work we do, in order to keep supporting the many women who need it. We appreciate all donations, big or small as they help us to continue operating.
Please note: HWC can not accept any donations of clothing or household items.
